Wiwynn Exhibits Latest Cloud IT Infrastructure Technologies at Computex Taipei 2019

Wiwynn Exhibits Latest Cloud IT Infrastructure Technologies at Computex Taipei 2019

Taipei, Taiwan– May 24th, 2019 – Wiwynn®, an innovative cloud IT infrastructure provider for data centers, today announced its participation at Computex Taipei 2019 in TICC (Taipei International Convention Center) first floor from May 28-31. Wiwynn will showcase the latest server, including AI and edge computing solutions, as well as immersion cooling and 48VDC technologies to address the demand of modern datacenter efficiency.

By adopting the 2nd generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors, Wiwynn’s complete 19” and 21” server fleet, including SV302G3SV300G3, SV100G3, SV5100G3 and SV7220G3, can provide pervasive performance enhancement as well as more efficient AI inference acceleration. With the support of Intel® Optane™ DC persistent memory, data centers can utilize Wiwynn servers with high capacity memory modules for memory-intensive applications at affordable cost.

Wiwynn will also showcase the AI-inference-specific solution by upgrading the 4U 16-node SV7100G2 server with the new OCP Glacier Point v2 (GPv2) carrier card to support up to six dual M.2 AI inference modules. Service providers can therefore increase AI inference accelerator density and enjoy benefits of low power and high efficiency from application-built chips. Service providers can also utilize the same flexible and high density design with customized ASIC or storage modules to optimize and scale out their diverse workloads more efficiently.

For the upcoming 5G era, Wiwynn will unveil the latest Edge Platform 100(EP100), a 3U system based on Nokia-led OCP OpenEdge Chassis specification which provides flexible configurations, high power efficiency and easy management for the edge sites. At Computex, the platform will be configured with five 1U half-width single-socket server sleds. Each sled supports one PCIe Gen3 x16 FHHL accelerator card while still retaining one OCP NIC 3.0 slot. In aggregate, Wiwynn EP100 can satisfy diverse demands of data-processing, power consumption and networking for edge computing applications.

Power and cooling technologies are key factors to satisfy the fast growing power consumption stemming from AI and new applications. Wiwynn will have live demonstration of the advanced two-phase immersion cooling tank with OCP Accepted servers, 3M™ Fluorinert™ Electronic Liquids and CoolIT Systems Rack DCLC™ AHx10 CDU for higher compute and power density with lower PUE. Together with Wiwynn’s 48V technology and power pooling, it provides even higher power efficiency and optimizes energy utilization.

Welcome to visit Wiwynn booth at TICC to explore the opportunities for what’s next in the cloud world.
