Wiwynn Demonstrates Wiwynn® Cluster Manager with NVMe over Fabric Based on Intel® Rack Scale Design at OCP US Summit
Wiwynn’s 19” and 21” products with Intel Rack Scale Design are ready for customer test at Disaggregate Lab, CTC Japan and Wiwynn Taipei Office
San Jose, CA, Mar. 19, 2018— Wiwynn®, an innovative cloud IT infrastructure provider of high quality computing and storage products, plus rack solutions for data centers, today demonstrates its Cluster Manager with NVMe over Fabric (NVMeoF) based on Intel® Rack Scale Design (Intel® RSD) at the OCP US Summit at booth #A15.
Wiwynn® Cluster Manager with Intel RSD is an integrated software solution that empowers cloud service providers, telecoms, and enterprises to build their own agile, efficient, software-defined data centers to meet dynamic workload changes while expanding their global services or 5G technologies. The latest feature of NVMe over fabric (NVMeoF) realizes NVMe resource pooling at scale through Ethernet protocol without the rack boundary. The showcase at OCP US Summit are implemented on Wiwynn’s 12V and 48V racks.
Wiwynn also aligns with ecosystem partners to build environment for proof of concept at Disaggregate Lab, a lab space in Facebook’s Menlo Park headquarters for vendors to test their infrastructure software on open hardware, CTC Japan Lab and Wiwynn’s Taipei Office. Wiwynn Cluster Manager running on Wiwynn’s latest 19” and 21” OCP servers and storages integrated with Intel RSD features of NVMe pooling and out-of-band telemetry are ready for test. Customers can experience the benefits with their own workloads. More test sites will be available in Europe. The latest features will be updated continuously as well.
