Wiwynn Launches New OCP, OCS and EIA 19” Servers with Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors

The new Wiwynn® server systems support the new Intel® Xeon® Scalable platform innovations and features Intel® Advanced Vector Extensions 512 (Intel® AVX-512), Intel® Volume Management Device (Intel® VMD), and Intel® QuickAssist Technology (Intel® QAT ) to address the growing demands of high-performance computing. In general, the new Intel® architecture delivers impressive performance gains of up to 4.2x higher scalability for virtualized workloads as compared with the 4-year-old systems widely used in the market today.
SV7220G3 is an OCP 21” 2U3N power-efficient server, optimized for compute-intensive applications. Each node supports 12 DIMMs, one 3.5” HDD or four 2.5” SSDs, one M.2 module, two PCIe x16 FHHL slots and one OCP Mezzanine card. Inspired by the OCP design concept, 80% of the serviceable parts can be easily replaced in 3 minutes.
SV300G3 is an EIA 19” 1U server for multi-purpose applications and storage capacity with low power consumption. It supports 24 DIMMs, ten 2.5" drive trays, one M.2 module on a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots and two OCP v2.0 NIC Mezzanine slots.
SV5100G3 is an OCS 19” 1U server for multi-purpose applications with low power consumption. It supports 24 DIMMs, one 3.5 HDD, one 2.5" HDD/SSD, four M.2 module slots, two PCIe 3.0 x8 slots and three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots.
SV5200G3 is an OCS 19” 2U storage server with optimized cost and performance for storage intensive applications with low power consumption. It supports 24 DIMMs, twelve 3.5" HDD, one 2.5” HDD, four M.2 module slots, two PCIe 3.0 x8 slots and three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots.
Meanwhile, Wiwynn® works closely with Intel to implement the latest Intel® Rack Scale Design (Intel® RSD) 2.1 into Wiwynn’s Cluster Manager and integrate with 19” rack building blocks. With Intel® RSD deployment, data center operators can efficiently manage IT resources with agility, optimize data center workloads and improve TCO (Total Cost of Operation).
