Wiwynn Introduces World's First Server with OCP Certification
29th Jan., 2014-Wiwynn is proud to announce that its SV7220 server is the first server certified by the Open Compute Project (OCP). The OCP Compliance and Interoperability project (C&I) was established to build a framework that enables a transparent approach for qualifying solutions to become OCP branded. Testing was conducted by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), an independent lab in Taiwan newly authorized by OCP to perform testing with hardware and software tools approved by OCP.
As the first Open Compute model certified by OCP, the Wiwynn SV7220 Series(high density design of 3 servers within 2U) is designed for maximum computing performance and power efficiency. It is available and shipping today to customers directly and through OCP solutions providers.
